25th Anniversary of Lights in the LAX Pylons

August 8, 2025, marks the 25th anniversary of the lights in the LAX pylons that celebrate Los Angeles’ diversity through the movement of light and color. Commissioned by Los Angeles World Airports in 2000, the public art work was created by artist Paul Tzanetopoulos and has become a beloved icon for the City.
