“The Pumpkin Coach” (Emulsion Series) from the Cinderella Unit of Disneyland’s Main Street Electrical Parade, and “Mushroom With Butterfly and Ladybug” (Emulsion Series) from the Alice in Wonderland Unit, are part of a site-specific photographic narrative at Disneyland, California. The etched box in the photograph provides a luminescent border overlay on an existing context.

The Emulsion Series is a Series of work utilizing 35mm color transparencies as a drawing and painting medium. Transparencies or slides were etched and drawn and painted upon, forming a visual collage of photography and a form of drawing and printing. These works were both projected in installations, as well as printed in medium format photographic work. Point of View (Emulsion Series) is a Series of work utilizing 35mm color transparencies as a drawing and painting medium. Specifically, Point of View provides a visual overlay illustrating an alternative and often overlooked aspect of the photographic image.
