The artist used a Las Vegas billboard space to express environmental concerns regarding junk advertising and ecology. These billboard(s) replaced the scenery behind it that had been previously obscured. The billboards evolved monthly. The first month, the "replaced scenery" was to scale (see Fremont Billboard #1). The next month, the view changed to a closer perspective of the scenery, focusing on natural elements, and so forth, over a 6-month period.
